About The Chamber

Organized in 1997 by members of foreign business community resident in Uzbekistan, the AmCham Uzbekistan is a voluntary, independent association of businesspersons and entities that unites mostly foreign companies originating from US, Europe and South Pacific Asia.

AmCham’s membership is diverse, representing all types and sizes of businesses and their interests.  Currently there are over 100 members of our organization.  AmCham is an affiliate and a fully accredited member of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States, and as such, is eligible to use that organization’s informational and other facilities.

Provide a unique platform for networking, knowledge sharing and business promotion

  1. Monthly events featuring government officials, heads of IFIs and diplomats.
  2. Networking events to connect business to business.
  3. M2M program to promote business within AmCham's extensive network.

Drive dialog with the Government of Uzbekistan to improve the trade and investment climate in the country

  1. Public – private dialog with Senate and Cabinet to exchange business concerns.
  2. Participate in the Foreign Investors Council.
  3. Establish committees to represent special interests.
  4. Advocate for business interests.

 

Business to Uzbekistan

 

Promote Uzbekistan as an attractive investment destination

  1. Organize trade missions.
  2. Publish materials and research about business impact and opportunity.
  3. Work with US  and Uzbek Governments to promote bi-lateral trade.
  4. Facilitate meetings with visiting delegations
