Training for Business Associations sponsored by CIPE

Member- associations and management of the American Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan participated in three days training for Business Associations. The training was organized by Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) and delivered by highly professional trainers as Ulug Kydyrbaev, founder of multiple business associations in Kyrgyzstan.
Participant were taught practical tools to improve management of associations e.g. performance evaluation, budgeting and finance aspects, comparative analysis, strategic planning, marketing and strategy, personnel development. They discussed cooperation versus rivalry between associations and learned on how to better deliver services to members including advocacy, lobbying and networking. Membership development was covered separately along with the vital issue on how to perform corporate functions provided limitations in the resources (human and capital) associations frequently face among many others.
