Tashkent International School is an International Baccalaureate World School with nearly 500 students from over 40 countries in preschool through grade 12. TIS is a non-for-profit, co-educational day school governed by a board of directors elected from the parent community. The school offers all three IB programmes – the Primary Years Programme, for preschool through grade 5; the Middle Years Programme, for grades 6 through 10; and the Diploma Programme for students in grades 11 and 12. Preschool students at TIS attend the Early Learning Center, a self-contained purpose-built section of TIS for children ages 3 to 5. The highly-trained teaching staff at TIS comes from around the world, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, New Zealand, Australia, India and Uzbekistan. TIS is located adjacent to the Tashkent International Clinic on a 13-acre wooded campus with full-time security.
