Business Mixer on November 17, 2017

The monthly AmCham Business Mixer was held on 17 November in the Grand Ball Room of AmCham member Radisson Blu Tashkent, and sponsored by AmCham member Edu-Action.
The November event attracted a high level of interest from our members, diplomatic circles, and high-profile representatives of the Uzbek educational sector. This high level of interest can be attributed to the presence of the Dean of Webster University, Eric W. Rothenbuhler, Ph.D., who was invited by Edu-Action to make a presentation for the AmCham community about the University and its “Study Abroad” program.
Founded in 1915, Webster University is a private non-profit university with nearly 17,000 students studying at campus locations in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, and in a robust online learning environment. The university is committed to ensuring high-quality learning experiences that transform students for global citizenship and individual excellence. Webster is one of the most diverse and global universities in the world.
Vice Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan, Alisher Saddulaev, representatives of Singapore University, Westminster University in Tashkent, INHA University in Tashkent, Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent, and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, were also present for this special event.
As usual, the November mixer was a great networking event, where in addition to hearing about the educational opportunities offered by Webster University, guests had a great opportunity to discuss business and sample delicious food expertly prepared by Chef de Cuisine of the Radisson Blu Hotel.
