Currently holding a position of Country Operations Manager with SGS Tashkent, Uzbekistan branch of SGS Group, the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company, Atabek Alimdjanov oversees everyday operations, business development, and company growth. Having a number of years of worldwide purchasing, logistics, project management experience in banking, retail, relocation, transportation and moving operation and management Atabek Alimdjanov has strong planning, preparation, prevention, and time management skills.

During his work experience, Atabek Alimdjanov held positions responsible for making decisions with limited information and ensuring timely and accurate solutions. He was working in a multi-cultural, fast-paced environment and effectively used communication and customer service skills to succeed.

Before joining SGS Group, Atabek has been Country Manager of the Move One Group since 2010. The company is an international logistics company. The most notable achievement is to diversify the customer base to international and local entities in governmental, non-governmental and business sectors across a broad range of logistics needs. Atabek focuses on revenue generation through marketing and business development activities.

Before coming to Move One Atabek was a part of Barrel Select, Toronto’s leading premium wine supplier company, as purchasing and logistics manager. Prior to that, he had a 5-year professional experience with the General Services office at the United States Embassy where he was a vital part of operational team.

Atabek holds a B.A. diploma for International Economics from Oriental Studies University and has received a range of international training programs for his professional and personal growth, including the Academy of the Central Eurasian Leadership Alliance.
